Utility sviluppata da Intel Corporation per identificare le caratteristiche del processore presente sulla scheda madre del computer. Oltre a visualizzare i dettagli del processore, questo tool fornisce una funzione di test di frequenza per determinare se la CPU opera alla stessa velocità indicata sulla targhetta del processore. Sono disponibili due versioni, una per il sistema operativo Windows e una versione "bootable" che non richiede il sistema operativo e può essere eseguito anche da un dispositivo di avvio, come un disco floppy.

The Intel Processor Identification Utility was developed by Intel Corporation to identify characteristics of the processor inside a system. In addition to displaying processor details, this tool provides a frequency test feature to determine if the processor is operating at the tested and rated speed marked on the processor. There are two versions of the utility available. The Windows version of the utility can be used with systems that support the Windows operating system environment. The "Bootable" version of the utility does not require an operating system.
