Con nLite è possibile personalizzare la propria copia del cd di windows 2000, XP o 2003, scegliendo i componenti da includere e quelli da rimuovere, come per esempio Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, Messenger e altri, consentendo al sistema una maggiore velocità ed efficenza. Dopo aver scelto i componenti da installare, è possibile creare un cd bootable.

nLite is a tool for permanent Windows components removal and pre-installation Windows configuration. After removal there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines.
